How is one going to travel 933 miles to a state that doesn’t have her kids in it? But complains that we’re too far from her?🤔

Back story: my mil left husband and in laws to run away to a different state. There’s 5 kids in total (oldest 22, my husband19, sister15, 2boys5&9). She left when my husband was 16, hasn’t help financially with any of the kids(oldest has his own kids so he doesn’t count). Basically left them all homeless with their dad. They were still married. Anyways. She always says how much she misses them but doesn’t make an effort to call text or come see them. When they ask for help she says she doesn’t have money but turns around and goes out to concerts or out to eat with her friends. As of today she’s traveling to upstate New York(933+ miles) a lot further than where we live(931 miles) just so she can see some concerts. She’s also claimed the kids on her taxes even tho she didn’t support them nor do they live with her. She says she claimed them so she can get them to where she lives. Well in my opinion, shouldn’t she have traveled the 931 miles to Texas to get the younger kids to go live with her instead of illegally claiming the on taxes?🤔 and used the concert tickets money to do whatever she can to get them?

I swear my mil is a piece of shit. I hate her with all my guts! She don’t deserve the younger kids. She can barely take care of herself!!!
