Am I being controlling?

Am I wrong for getting upset if my partner likes/followers photos of other girls in bikinis or lingerie? And when he does I ask him to remove it or the person? It honestly gets on my nerves so much and I’ve asked him not to but every now and then he gets the shits because I’m controlling his social media and he doesn’t understand it makes me upset. And if I am being controlling how do I stop because seeing it makes me really upsets me and I can’t control that, I know he is gonna see that shit but I don’t want to see that he has.

If he’s in a relationship with you he has all the views he needs. Instagram models shouldn’t even be a worry. You’re not being controlling at all.

You are entitled to your own feelings! No one can tell you that how you feel about something is right or wrong...it’s just how you feel. Some couples are very open and don’t mind things like that but if that bothers you no one can tell you that it shouldn’t. It’s your relationship and if you find that disrespectful the person in the relationship with you needs to show some respect!! And you shouldn’t need to keep repeating yourself over and over again to make him respect your feelings.

Depends on the established boundaries of the relationship. Neither my husband nor I are okay with that kind of behavior, so we don't do it. However, we have friends who are perfectly fine with it. Personally, I think he should stop if you've made it clear that it bothers you.. if he doesn't, it's pretty disrespectful.

Just me personally, but I believe no matter how much you love and are attracted to someone, there will always be other people you find attractive. As long as it’s not someone you know personally, you don’t talk to the person or spend money on them and there’s no physical touching either way, I don’t see any harm. Especially if it’s just photos online. If these are local ladies he could potentially meet, I might then see it as an issue. 
But that’s just my opinion on it. I feel like it’s healthy to fantasize once in a while and I think no matter how hard you try to stop it, you can’t.

From my personal experience with my boyfriend(now ex) he would always get mad at me for liking pictures of guys on Instagram. But for me it honestly wasn't a big deal, I could see him like pictures of girls all day and it wouldn't bother me at all. But for him it was a big deal so i stopped in order to prevent fights. How ever that also just made him even more controlling in the end with other things, if I liked a couple picture a guy posted he would get mad. If I liked a picture that a guy posted about nature he would get mad. At the end of the day in my opinion if they're not cheating, if they're not sending it to their friends saying "oh she's so hot", if they're not making u feel ugly compared to the person some THing as silly as a like shouldn't matter

My boyfriend and I are personally okay with doing things like that with celebrities/models/pornstars and such. Both of us watch porn whenever we want and tease each other when we watch movies by saying the actors are hot, lol. But I get upset when we flirts with someone he knows irl and such. He does too even when I play flirt with my one girl friend.

I think if you have explained to him how it makes you feel, then you either have to find a way to deal with your little green monster or find someone who will respect your feelings. You can't make him do something, you can ask him why he likes the pictures to see if there is an underlying reason that he clicks on them and it could help you better understand and hopefully find peace in that he is with you and not them.
