When to take out the belly ring 🤔

Hi ladies, if you had a belly ring prior to getting pregnant, when did you finally take it out? Has anyone used those pregnancy belly rings? Or just let the hole close up? I haven’t decided what I want to do, or when I should take it out.

I still have mine in at 24 weeks. I take it out when I’m wearing tight clothes cause you can see the bumps from the ring. My innie belly button is turning into an outtie though, so i doubt I’ll have it in the whole time.

I took mine out last time around 19 weeks. My step mom said she kept hers in the whole time with my sister, took it out right before they went to the hospital and put it back in right after. It’s all personal preference.

I took mine out around 22w. The ultrasound tech asked me to and I left it out bc it had been bothering me (itchy). Now my stomach is so stretched and the scar is so obvious, I hope it looks more normal after the baby is born!

My husband who is a tattoo artist and pierced suggested I take it out around 15 weeks and I’m glad I did! I very highly doubt yours will close up! Unless you just got it done right before you got pregnant but I think you’ll be fine
