Valentine's Day Blue's 😔

Is anyone else feeling down about all the cute little posts they'll see on social media about gift exchanges on Valentine's day? I'm 24 and everytime I date someone something bad always happens before I get to celebrate Valentine's day or my birthday with them. I always find out they've cheated or something right before or sometimes even on the holiday 😣 believe it or not and break up with them. I view myself as a very generous person. I love making my s/o feel special on holidays by giving them presents I know they'll love but I've never been given a gift by anyone. The only Valentine I had complained about spending $60 for our dinner, didn't buy me a gift, said we won't be going out for a while, and then ditched me after dinner to hang out with his friend. I just wish I could meet someone who viewed holidays and birthdays like me.
