I've done a lot of reading and a lot of research. So apparently a breastfeeding mom needs minimum 1800 calories. You burns 20calories per ounce of milk produced. The cravings for sugar are due to lack of magnesium, vitamin C, Vitamin B and fiber.. i've also read eggs help curb cravings so you don't stray from healthy eating. So with that said

I've been using my fitness pal to monitor my food intake having 4 meals a day 1800 cal. Typically have 1cup of steel cut oatmeal with cinnamon and a little honey and 3 eggs for breakfast with black pepper. Lunch I have one of my microwave SweetEarth vegetarian meals because they are high protein and very healthy and quick meals. Dinner varies. I also have been having a glass of Ripple Milk with Breakfast Essentials as my midday snack. And only drinking water beyond that. No bread, no pasta, no soda, no juice.

I also am making sure I don't forget to take my prenatal vitamin.

And I have been going to the gym for 2 hours every night once my husband gets home. (I have dinner ready for when he gets home, so he can eat then shower) while he is showering I feed the baby and pump a bottle to leave with him.) I've been burning about 250-400cal. And doing a lot of weight training.

Fingers crossed I see results sometime soon. It has been 5days and no change on the scale yet. But I do know muscle weighs more than fat. And I lost a lot of muscle mass while pregnant. So I'm hoping I'm rebuilding muscle mass while losing fat and that's why I don't see a change yet.
