What are signs baby is having hard time breathing

Can anyone give me the signs of struggling to breathe? I heard the collar bone and it looks like it to me that it’s being sucked in and she’s grunting.. she has congestion and and bark cough(her doctors said just a cold yesterday)

Some of the signs to watch for is nasal flaring, tracheal tug ( looks like when the throat is getting sucked in), sucking in around the stomach or ribs. If you google work of breathing in babies there should be some videos.

You have gotten a lot of comments in the use of auxiliary muscles...so the only thing I have to add is..
You can get an oxygen meter that goes on the finger from Walgreens/CVS.
When our son had breathing issues from RSV, we kept taking him to the doctor because he was using auxiliary muscles and was wheezing, but we would get sent home because his O sats were good (96, 100 is perfect, they want it above 90).
You probably still need to be seen, but sometimes having some sort of metric helps.

My son’s lip turn bluish and the space between his ribs gets sucked in when he has a croup attack.
Croup does come as a barky cough, it’s very distinctive. First step we do is steam therapy (you can steam up a bathroom and sit with him in it). If it’s bad, they need steroids. We have the inhaler at home but when we don’t, it warrants an ER visit.
