Is It possible to get a flashing smiley face in the morning using FMU (indicating high fertility) followed by static smiley face in the afternoon which means peak fertility and Lh surge detected??
Does this mean I’m ovulating today or tomorrow? Should I test again in the morning?

Answer

Yes. The digitals also test for the estrogen surge that occurs before a LH surge, hence the flashy smileys. That’s why you use FMU with the digitals bc it will detect it in the morning. Since your body does not produce LH while you sleep, generally with regular stick opks you use mid day or later urine. If you got an afternoon positive, that means it detecting LH. Digitals are really sensitive and detect at really low levels which is why you can get a solid positive smiley with FMU because it’s reading left over LH from the night before. 
All that being said (sorry), you usually ovulate 24-36hrs after ovulation, so prob not until tomorrow. The reason they say to have sex when you get a positive is the fact that sperm can live for 3 days in a woman reproductive environment and it can take up to 12hours for them to swim up to the egg and you want them there and waiting to meet the egg, otherwise you may miss it.
