Baby boy names?

The middle name is set after my DH’s dad who passed away in 2016. Having a hard time deciding a spelling. Jackson is “too common”, but Jaxon seems more of the spelling of an animal and not a little boy, but I love that way, do you think JAXON would be an acceptable spelling?

I would just go with the original spelling. Jackson. It is pronounced exactly the same way anyway so it's not really making the name any more or less original. 🤷

We are naming this little one Jax Thomas. I wanted just Jax but it was going to be Jaxon. I think it is how you want to say his name especially if you call him jack or Jax for short. Sounds 2 different ways.

Jaxon is -just- as common as Jackson down here so if you’re set on the name I’d say pick either spelling and go with it. I voted for the traditional spelling because of personal preference, but you’re the mama! It’s up to you 😘
