20 percentile Baby??

Question

Anyone have a baby that was measuring low in size and have to deliver early? I had my 32 week growth ultrasound today and baby was only at 20th percentile in size. Dr said he will measure each week from now on but if he doesn’t grow enough I’ll be induced.

I did. Thankfully I made it to 37 weeks before she dropped below the 10th percentile and I was induced. She was born at 37+5 at 5lbs even and 18 inches. 3rd percentile for weight. She caught up so fast though! Doubled her weight by 2 months and tripled by 5. She is still lean and petite but I think that's just her dad's genetics at this point. No developmental problems, no NICU stay, she was just tiny. She is almost 19 months now and is finally in age appropriate clothing, she was in a size behind up until now. But she's somewhere in the 50-60 percentile now. I promise, small babies catch up so fast once they're on the outside!
