We're waiting. How many surprises do we get in life? Not enough in my opinion lol But I love surprises!!! And I'm willing to have gender neutral everything to prepare for future babies. Plus I'm due in the summer- yard sale time, what perfect timing!

I waited until birth and I don’t regret it at all! My hubby and I loved the surprise! The only hard part was trying to buy gender neutral clothing, but other than that most everything else we got was neutral.

It is so fun to wait to find out! You can prepare just as well not knowing. Just go with neutral colors, then after the baby arrives, you can add in pops of color to the nursery. You can accumulate clothes as the baby grows instead of trying to buy them all before the baby arrives. This is particularly helpful if your baby turns out to be very big or very small. My baby transitioned to bigger sizes very slowly. If I had tried to buy clothes that should fit and accommodate seasons I would have been very off. All the big equipment you receive or buy will be good for all babies because they won’t be blue or pink. I promise waiting to find out is so fun!

We waited until birth and it was great! We loved having it be a surprise, but it also worked out well from a cost standpoint. Not only did we get more useful shower gifts (less clothes, more things off the registry), but we also weren’t tempted to buy “boy” or “girl” colored essentials. Our car seat, stroller, high chair, and nursery are all gender neutral and will work perfect for the next baby, no matter what it is. :)

We waited with my first. Had a gorgeous little boy. I wanted to find out this time but hubby doesn’t want to know. I found out we are having a little girl this time and hubby will find out at birth. I’m going to hide all baby items at my mums.
