need support.. or to rant or something.

my baby girl is 2 weeks old, and still cannot latch. I had to formula feed her in the hospital, and for most of her first week, because my milk didn't come in until day 5.

I've given up trying to breastfeed, but was pumping this week-- this every two hour thing is exhausting, and I can't keep up with it.

I only get about 1.5 oz from each session, and she's eating about 3-3.5 oz of formula every feeding ,about every 3 hours. she's 9lbs, 10 oz! big, hungry girl!!

so, is it worth it to keep trying to pump? or should I throw in the towel?

I guess any breast milk is better than none, but feeding her for 30 minutes, then pumping for 20, then slowly dying from sleep exhaustion when I go back to work at 6 weeks and probably won't be able to keep pumping anyway------- sigh.
