Need opinions!

Hubby and I earlier this week had agreed on a cute way to tell our parents we are pregnant at 11 weeks after our 10 week ultrasound. But this morning before he left for work he suggested just sending them the announcement in the mail at 9 weeks. I was wanting to let them know earlier... but is this too impersonal? They don’t live far away it’s only 3 hours... so I’m not sure what I think about it, while hubby thinks it would be hilarious. What do you ladies think? This is a general idea of what we are using to announce, this isn’t mine I saw it on Pinterest. Oh and while it will be his parents fourth grand child it will be my parents first and all my grandparents first great grand child. What would you guys do if this were your choice?
