So my husband and I have been ttc since our miscarriage in September 2015. My period went out of wack and I would go months without having one and when I finally did it would be very heavy. So I was placed on birth control and I got off in October and started my very first period on my own yesterday which is so exciting BUT this isn't what this story is about.

We decided to get a fur baby to take our minds off of ttc. Here is Raiden. Yes we named him off of the Mortal Kombat character.

My mom, who knows what we have been through, had nothing positive to say. Since she has seen him she has said "You know he is gonna get bigger right?" "Your rent is going to go up and you already complain about it." "I'm never going into your apartment because I know it will stink now." I'm just in awe because I just want her to be happy that I'm finally a mom. I don't know if I should say something to her or if I should just ignore her. I just needed to vent.
