Is 8 years a huge difference? 20-28

So as you see in the description I’m 20. I’m really feeling this guy, like he’s funny (literally he has a YouTube page funny), he’s nice, he’s 6’3” and easy to talk to. The only downside I know of so far is he didn’t graduate hs (he’s trying to get his ged) and he has a bad ass kid. I don’t care that he’s 8 years older than me, my only thing is if I pursue him, and things escalate to a serious level he gonna have to meet my judgemental ass family 🤦🏾‍♀️ and I’m very family oriented. What should I do???

The only concern I see here is "bad ass" kid. Are you prepared, should the relationship progress, to handle that situation properly?

Are you ready to date someone with a kid? Bad-ass or not, it’s tough. As for the age gap, go for it! My SO is 37 and I’m 28. We are a perfect fit.  He’s an amazing SO and daddy (my kids hes petitioning to adopt). He will tell me honestly though, stepping in when the kids are older is much harder than he thought but he wouldn’t trade it ☺️

A bad ass kid...? I feel like that‘ a a weird way to put it. I dont see why you shouldn’t go for it though if you like him. Dating a man with a kid though age difference or not is no piece of cake and youve gotta be prepared for that
