When to put in a Car Seat.

Question

I’m 35 Weeks and now I’m thinking when should we put the car seat in 🤔 
My friend who was due on 31st said 37 Weeks. 
But I like to get others opinions

I’m putting in the car seat base when I’m 36-37 weeks then actually put in the car seat when I go into labor

Before going to hospital. Not worth risking a possible accident and having to buy a new one before you even use it

Put in the base now and keep the car seat next to your hospital bag in the house.

I’ve had it in my car since like 35 weeks not installed but just there lol probably night before induction I will have hubby install it !

at least with our carseat base it takes like 2 seconds to install so before you go to hospital lol

I’m installing the base and just putting the actual car seat in when we go to the hospital.
I personally wouldn’t recommend waiting for before/at the hospital as it’s a stressful/frantic time and sometimes it’s not as easy as it looks. The chances of you getting in an accident in the weeks before birth are sooo small compared to your man installing it incorrectly because he’s in a hurry. 
Was at Babies R Us yesterday and a man was trying to install a car seat in his car (swearing and sweating) and as I put my newly purchased carseat box into my car, he said “be smarter than we were and install it sooner than you have to!” LOL
