Metformin Success Stories/Support???

Question

Ive been trying to conceive naturally for the past three years without any luck. Finally decided to see a doctor and was told i had PCOS. I was put on Metformin 500mg one daily and been on it for 12 days now with no major side effects. Fingers crossed. Any success stories with Metformin???

long story short.I tried to get pregnant for years then found out I had pcos and got sent to a fertility doctor who put me on metformin and 1 month later I got pregnant with my beautiful daughter who is almost 4 years old! and now all together I have an almost 4 year old an almost 3 year old and a 7 month old. Don't lose hope it will happen! :)

Trying for a year, both had test and found that we both had fertility issues (PCOS and low sperm count). We were sent to a fertility doctor who said that our chances of conceiving naturally were extremely low of not impossible.
He also said I needed to lose weight before IVF treatment, I asked if there was anything else that could help me as it is so difficult to lose weight with PCOS, he prescribed me Metformin but said “it’s not a weight loss tablet, you still have to work hard”.
The doctor never mentioned the possibility of conceiving on Metformin so my understanding was that I was on it to support PCOS blood sugar and to regulate my cycles for treatment. 
As we thought there was no hope other than IVF (we were basically told that numerous times) we weren’t “trying” as actively as we were before the doctors intervened. I lost 28 pounds!
6 months later and right before we were about to start IVF treatment I found out we conceived naturally and I am now 7 weeks! 
But I believe if we had kept trying more actively and weren’t so disheartened by the prognosis the doctors gave us it might of happened sooner!

Was diagnosed with PCOS in my 20’s, put on Metformin, stopped taking the pill years ago (what was the point), Now in my 30’s once I lost weight my periods become regular enough, got some preseed & on our second month got pregnant 🤰🏼

I had missed my period for about a year before I decided to talk to a doctors. I started metformin last May. I’ve been having normal periods ever since. My husband and I just started TTC in January but no luck yet. We’re only going on our 3rd month trying so I’m not 100% discouraged yet

also try the answer brand ovulation kit from Wal-Mart. It's like 20 dollars for the pack and it works! I know they say people who have pcos that the ovulation kits won't work but it worked like a charm for me
