How long after you went off the pill before your cycle was regular?

My husband and I decided we would TTC starting in July. I decided to take my last pack of pills in January since I've been on them for over 8 years now. Just curious what the time frame was for you ladies on when your cycle was back to normal after going off birth control! I was going to do 3 months before but have been hearing from a lot of people it was closer to 6 months before they had a regualr cycle again!

Well, I wouldn’t say my cycle went regular, but back to what my cycle was which was irregular. Every month off my pill, my cycles kept getting longer and longer which is what I dealt with pre-bc so each month I was more and more “normal.”
So if your cycles were regular before birth control, awesome! It is honestly up to your own body on whether or not it will go back quickly or not. Which doesn’t answer your question necessarily, sorry. If they weren’t, expect them to go back to that irregularity.
