When should I start using?✨✨

Question

Someone previously told me you have to start this test on a certain date so that it can measure you hormones. Is this true and does anyone lnow when? 
I recently had a miscarriage (my first pregnancy) and it’s really hard to know when I’m ovulating :( my last period was my miscarriage and I’m waiting for AF anytime now. I did use cheap ovulating test kits recently but they were very conflicting :(

I also use this I usually start testing on Cycle day 12-13 with Dollar brand and First response and once I get a strong First response I use Clear blue and I get my smiley face.

I would use cheap ones until the second line starts to be more visable then switch to these as they are expensive to use constantly.
