late/skipped periods with COPPER IUD not hormonal??

Question

I have had the copper iud (Paraguard) for about 5 months. it's been great and I haven't had any issues with it.
however, this past cycle, my period is like a week late, and it's just trying to start but not really (mild spotting at most). I know for absolute SURE I'm not pregnant because I haven't gotten laid.
does anyone know if the copper IUD can lead to skipped periods like the hormonal one can?????

I have a copper IUD. I don't remember missing a period, but during times of stress or changes in routine, it seems like my period varies more on the IUD than it did before. When I'm not exercising regularly, my period is early and extreme, and when being healthy and exercising regularly, it is often a few days late and very mild.  Has your lifestyle changed during this last month? (Exercise, diet, break up?)
