Dilation? 30 weeks

Question

When does the doctor start checking to see if you’ve dilated? I’ll be 30 weeks at my next appointment and I don’t know what that visit will consist of

My doc doesn't check as it isn't an indicator of labor. Dilation doesn't mean anything unfortunately. 39+4 and still waiting for my boy. Had I been checked & was dilated weeks ago, I think it would make waiting worse.

My doctor won’t start checking until 36 weeks... it’s been normal visits. Blood pressure, weight, and pee in a cup. Checks the baby’s heart.
