What should getting married feel like?

I personally feel that when I'm getting married I want it to be the most natural, easy, relaxed process in the world. Yes, there should be joy over joining with someone, but none of the frantic emotion I've seen in some of my friends who are engaged. Your thoughts?

Process leading up to the wedding I’m feeling most calm, with short bursts of stress!

GIRL. I just got married (well kinda- last march) and everyone was shocked at how chill I was. i’m a pretty chill person to begin with, but when things started turning to shit, I was still chill & I don’t even know how looking back now😂
my hairstylist got shitfaced the night before & “forgot” she had to do my hair, so my sister did my hair (and it looked like shit) AND she burned my forehead with the curling iron🙃 and then I got to the venue and my mom was missing- no where to be found. turns out she was having a meltdown about what SHE was wearing & she was still at the house... with my dress... when the wedding started in 30 minutes! 
I remember just saying over and over again “i’m chillin’” whenever someone would ask me about something.. I think telling myself over and over again that i was “chillin’” actually helped me to chill😂
but anyways- congratulations!! this is THE sweetest season and I hope everything goes perfectly for you💗

When I got married I was relaxed about the actual marriage. But a liiiittttllleee stressed about the reception. We only had a court house wedding with a party after. But thatsjust me

It’s kind of like graduating high school you’re super excited, a little scared, a little emotional. Some moments you’re feeling really calm about what’s to come others you’re not 🤷‍♀️ but once it happens it’s awesome and you’re like wtf was I so stressed about?!!

I was nervous to have all eyes on me as I walked down the  aisle. I guess that's why I picked Darth Vader's imperial march to make it fun. but over all I wasn't stressed, I was happy and calm.
