Best lotion to prevent stretch marks?

Fellow mommas! What lotion (brand, type, etc) are you currently using or have used in the past to help prevent stretch marks? My bump is officially here and although it's not all that big yet, I'd like to go ahead and start using something!

I recommend oils over lotion. I’ve tried both the Palmers lotion and oil and prefer the oil because it keeps my skin moisturized longer

I lived in FL and sunbathed for several years, so I feel like I know a good lotion when I find one! This one is greasy/oily, but dries up within 5 minutes, still leaving a soft and smooth coat.

Stretch marks are unfortunately usually genetic! But my recommendation is keep yourself super moisturized and they say not to scratch if you’re itchy!! Unlike the comment above i had great luck with bio oil and liked it more than any other product i tried out there! No stretch marks at all from my first pregnancy and believe me sometimes I could feel intense stretching and couldn’t believe i didn’t end up with any!!

Unfortunately there is not preventing stretch marks as they are hereditary. However you can help with the color of them. Keep your skin moisturized as much as possible and if you do get stretch marks then I would suggest bio oil to help them fade.

I used sweet almond oil for my last pregnancy to prevent them, and it worked for me.
