Would you be mad if your partner went through your phone?

I think that if your partner goes through your phone without a reason it’s fine but if they do it while your sleeping that’s completely different

If you have nothing to hide it's not a problem, whether it's behind your back or not. If he has trust issues that's something for him to deal with, and if that's what's going to help him sleep better than yeah go for it😂

My boyfriend has never gone through my phone & I have absolutely nothing to hide. If he asked to I’d of course let him but I feel like I’d be kinda annoyed that he feels the need

I’ve been with my husband for 6 years, we’ve been married for almost 2 of those 6 years. And he gets on my phone whenever he wants. I do have a fingerprint lock on my iPhone. But when he wants to see my phone he says, “Babe can I borrow your finger?” And I say, “HERE YOU GO CRAZY!” 😂😂 BUT...... He NEVER lets me on his phone. 
EXAMPLE: He wanted to look through my phone about a week ago, because his coworker told him he swore he saw me with another man while my husband was on a mission. (He’s active duty in the army.) BTW, I wasn’t with some other guy, I was grocery shopping and the bagger (who was a 15 year old boy) helped me carry my groceries to my car because I also had our 2 year old son with me. So anyways, I let him look through my phone, and OF COURSE he didn’t find anything. (I’m NO cheater) But then the other day I had asked to check the weather on his phone, because my phone was dead and I was late for an appointment. And he spazzed out and got all defensive saying, “why don’t you trust me?” “Why do you want in my phone?” “I’ll just check the weather for you, I don’t want you invading my privacy”. I told him I didn’t care who checked the weather, that I was just trying to hurry and be nice considering he was showering at that time. I don’t get it. 🤔

i have nothing to hide, my partner has a fingerprint on my phone and vice versa......but my phone is my phone and it doesn’t matter that i have nothing to hide, if they’re going through my phone without my knowledge because they feel they have the right to do so just by virtue of being my partner, that’s an issue. i’ve never denied him permission when he’s asked, but he knows to ask. if he’s going behind my back that’s a problem.

no. id be sad that he didn’t trust me but if it was just out of curiosity I really wouldn’t care. i would just be embarrassed because i google embarrassing stuff sometimes 😂

My boyfriend used to CONSTANTLY go through my phone. Whether I be passed out asleep, in the shower, any time I left my phone unattended, you best believe he was on it. I got fed up with it because it got to the point he’d see me like a popular tweet & it’s from a guy, he’d freak on me. I’ve never had anything to hide from him, & yet he still did this.
 I finally just took his thumb print out & changed my passcode. you’d think he was done trying, but he put his thumb print into my phone (while I left it unattended) until it needed my passcode, & he watched me put my passcode in, & then he put it in his notes. I saw him do this, & I blew up. I was so mad because he didn’t trust me after he’s found NOTHING on my phone. I told him to stop, & honestly since he’s stopped going through my phone, he’s been so much more calm, & more trusting of me even though I never gave him a reason not to trust me.  
We’ve been dating for 2 years & i wasn’t gonna break up w him over a phone. So we worked things out. I may have gone through his phone twice in the 2 years we’ve dated. He’s an amazing boyfriend, & I couldn’t picture life without him. Just a little tiff we got through, & it made us stronger 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’d be a bit upset, yes. 
I’d be hurt he didn’t just come to me and ask. He’s welcome to use my phone or go through it anytime he’d like, there’s no reason to snoop. I’d feel like he violated my sense of privacy. Just because I’m married to him doesn’t mean he can just help himself to me and my things. 
Plus I have texts/emails/conversations that are between me and my clients that I’d feel very wrong about him reading those. My clients trust me to keep their information private and just between us. 
Thankfully he respects me and he’d never just go through my things without asking first

I definitely wouldn’t care! My boyfriend loves to use my phone & go through my pictures for all of my selfies then he sends them to his phone. When someone calls or texts while I’m driving he will take care of it & I return the favor for him.
