Is it worth trying again?

Alicia

I recently had the ParaGuard IUD inserted (around 2 months ago) and my body decided it didn't like it, so it expelled it. That's pretty rare, but once it happens, it is more likely to happen again. However, the reason why I chose ParaGuard is because I wanted a hormone-free option of birth control. My ob/gyn is recommending me to try one of the hormonal IUDs, since my periods aren't the most regular, although they had started to regulate themselves after I had my IUD inserted. She said ultimately it was up to me whether or not I wanted to try ParaGuard again. Does anyone have any advice? Or if anyone has experience with specifically the Skyla IUD that would be much appreciated :)
