IUD yesterday, can’t feel strings today?

I got Liletta yesterday and i just tried to feel for my strings... but i can’t feel them? i was cramping so so bad up until about an hour or two ago; i haven’t stopped cramping since i got it in. i have a tilted cervix also.

I can’t feel mine because my doctor cut them too short. I’ve felt the tips a couple times and other than that I haven’t been able to feel them. I’ve had mirena for 2 months. I haven’t gone to check the placement yet.

I have the paragard and I’ve never been able to feel mine. When I asked my doctor he said that one a year when I got the PAP done they would check if it was in place and that it would be enough.

update: tried later that night and felt them. i was so excited 😂
