I want to have sex with my bf but I’m kinda scared

I know we haven’t really been dating that long but we both really want to soon. We plan on using condoms and everything but my main concern is how much it will hurt. I’m a virgin and I rarely use tampons when I’m on my period cause it hurts when I pull them out and they’re the small regular sized ones. I’m just worried so any advice would be appreciated. 😅
