Cancerous Tumor

My sister in law has three children, five and under. The youngest was born in December. She had this tumor during her pregnancy which was really scary for all of us.

Fast forward to now, she’s in excruciating pain. On medication that doctors don’t want her on for too long, it damages other organs. They told her the tumor is as big as a tennis ball, if it ruptures she will die.

They told her her insurance needs to be approved, not any doctor can perform this surgery, so they have to find a specialist. She has untied health care... the point of me posting this is WTF should we do?!

This is my sister in law, we don’t care how much this surgery costs. Like everything else in this world,unfortunately, medical field is a huge business. How can we get her approved?! Options? Anyone who has gone through this? I always fight and inform myself first. But can she just leave that hospital and go else where?! Can I personally find a doctor who can perform the surgery?
