Baby shower: to be or not to be coed?

FTM here and have never been to a baby shower. Thoughts on whether they should be coed? I mean we did make this baby together...

i have been to both, a shower for just the females and a co-ed shower. i’m planning mine to be co-ed.

We have a space issue. I am having about 20-25 women attend and my step mom is hosting it at their house. That's about as many as can fit. At the same time as my shower is happening, my husband will be having a pizza and diapers party over at his parent's house where all the husbands and guy friends can go eat pizza and hang out and the 'price of admission' is a pack of diapers.

Both men and women are needed to make a baby...why are the men always left out ? I did co Ed and it was great !

Do whatever you would enjoy more! I'm planning on having a coed bbq shower. Traditional baby showers aren't my thing.

Never did co-ed but that’s because my husband was like no thanks it’s a girly thing, just tell me when to pick you up 😂 and I get more enjoyment out of opening gifts than he does so he really didn’t care.

Ours will be co-ed. My SO is a new Parent, too, so I totally don’t understand baby showers that are women only.

In my opinion, guys don’t care much for baby showers. Seriously, what do they get out of it? Well at least the men around me. They are too manly for a baby shower lol

My hubby was so nervous/shy and didn't want to have a coed. But we did and he had a blast! It was so fun to be able to celebrate with all our friends together, and when it came time to open gifts he literally had so much fun and did most of it so it took the Pressure off of me. I wouldn't change the way my shower was at all 🙂
