When did you tell your other kids?

Hi everyone! Currently 7w2d with my 3rd. I have an 8 year old and a 3 year old who will both most likely be very excited to know we’re having another baby, but I’m not sure how long to wait before sharing the news. First appointment went well, and ultrasound looked great. Background: we had 2 miscarriages before my second was born.

Hey I have an 8 year old and 6 year old, we waited till the 12 week scan. One thing I would say is as soon as they found out they told everyone within 5 secs of seeing them lol - school friends, teachers, family strangers anyone who would listen basically they are so excited and I don't think it would've been fair to ask them to keep it a secret and so if you're happy for everyone else to possibly know too then tell them when you feel like it's the right time.  congrats Mama xx

I have a 2 y 9 m old who knows there is a baby in mommy's belly so he cant be crazy and play rough with mommy. My 5 y 9 m old doesn't know though, because he likes to blab and my in-laws who he sees every day don't know. Honestly it's really up to what is best for your family.

I’m waiting until I feel comfortable telling the rest of the world, probably close to 12 weeks like I did with the last two.

I have teenagers and I told them right away.. but if they were younger I think I would have waited.. my daughters and I are really close so I think they would have noticed something was different.. my kids are 16,14 and 12.. I’m 29 weeks pregnant

We told our 6, 4 & 2 year old when I was about 10 weeks. I had a miscarriage before our first, so we also wanted to wait just a little while.
