Am I ovulating?

Question

I am concerned I am not ovulating. I just want some opinions before I spend time talking to my doctor for no reason. This is my last four months charting. Each month I get a positive OPK and have EWCM but my temperatures never really rise higher post-o compared to pre-o. The outlyer is last month which I am assuming is how a normal ovulating cycle should look like. What are your thoughts? Am I ovulating each month?

I see what you’re worried about. So my first response is that if you cycles are around 30 days long that’s a very good sign you are ovulating. Hormones rise after ovulation and then drop to trigger your period. If you have no ovulation that rise never happens so that fall cannot happen, which means people who do not ovulate usually have very long cycles and only start their period when the uterine lining can’t take it anymore and it sheds. I do wonder though if you body is producing enough progesterone to have a good luteal phase - it should be at least 10 days long (so the time post ovulation) but ideally 14 or so. If you luteal phase is a good length (I can see your Chart while I type) then I say hang tight and wait to see you doc until you are either pregnant or have been TTC for a year (if you are under 35).
