Are you doing maternity and/or newborn pictures?

Question

I am on the fence about whether or not I want to have maternity/newborn shots done. We usually do family photos once a year for our Christmas cards, so we’ll have some taken at some point with baby boy in them, but I can’t decide if I want to do some while I’m still pregnant, then upon his arrival, and then again in the late summer fall. Just seems like a lot of pictures and I don’t typically get prints to hang up/display. Thoughts?

I just figured, I look like a whale right now, I don't want pictures to commemorate me looking like a whale with hair and make up done. I'd rather put that money toward amazing pictures of my son and my husband and I can jump in on some of those shots.

I’m only doing maternity, birth and newborn because they offered me a bundle price of 300 to do all three. I’m still waiting to get my maternity pictures back 🙈

I'd love to do newborn ones but can't afford it. Instead I will take my own.

I wanted to do maternity pictures but since there had been some irregularities with my pregnancy lately i figured it would be better to take extra rest rather then do pictures. I definitely want to do newborn pics though. My husband also said he preferred to have some taken when little one is here :)
