Faith, Hope and Patience

Sarah

My husband and I have been TTC for several years now. After the first year of trying with no results we went to a fertility doctor. After going through test and one round of IUI we found out that my tubes were blocked. The doctor told us that our best option was IVF. This of course was devastating. We kept trying for a couple more years praying a miracle would happen with no results. This last year my husband convinced  me to get a second opinion, so I did. The second doctor told me the same thing. Once again it was devastating but this time I refused accept it this time. I had done some research online about infertility treatments before all this but decided to do a little bit more. In my digging through the internet I found a doctor that specialized in laparoscopy. I did a lot of looking in to him and finally decided to make an appointment with him. He was straight forward with us, and made no promises  that the surgery would be a success. After a lot of prayer and discussion between my husband and I we decided to go a head with the surgery and it worked! He was able to unblock both of my tubes and assured us we should have no problems getting pregnant. Prayer is a powerful thing and though we haven't been blessed yet God does answer prayers. There were a lot of times and still are a lot of times I feel like God doesn't hear my prayers, or is telling me no when in truth he is telling me to wait and be patient. He hears everyone of us and some times we have to be still to hear his answer. So ladies don't give up, and keep praying. Things may not work out the way we want it to, it sure hasn't in my case, but if we keep faith it WILL work out the way He wants it to. I pray for the good Lord to give you all strength in your weak moments, and comfort in the hard ones. We are not alone in this, though I'm sure we all feel that way from time to time. God bless all of you.
