period on Kyleena IUD

so I got my Kyleena IUD inserted on January 31. My last day of my last period was January 21. i just went to the restroom and noticed I got my period. I was only spotty for a few hours after insertion so i know it is not spotting from insertion. it is an entire week early. is this normal? something i should be considered about?

also is it okay to use a tampon while on IUD?
