So Wednesday, January 31 I had my Mirena removed because it was out of place. My doctor recommended to track my periods for three months to see how they are. I’m getting married in August so getting pregnant isn’t an option right now for us! I have a few questions I need advice on...

1) If anyone has had their Mirena removed, how long did it take for the first period?

2) How bad was your first period? And then after?

3) What other forms of preventing pregnancy can you suggest? (Trying to stay off hormonal birth control, and of course I know condoms) but looking for something that works
