Sex Question

Tonight my bf and I took the big step & we decided to have sex(I was a virgin & he wasn't ) I don't really know how I should feel after having sex for the first time, I know I love him a lot. Yes it hurt, and we used protection & yes I felt closer to him. I just feel weird after because all of these emotions are new to me. I guess my question is what did it feel like losing your V Card & how did you feel after ? I'm just trying to figure out my emotions about it.
