Do you get ovulation pains?

I am just starting on my ttc journey and am reading a lot about ovulation pains. I have never felt such a thing. Is it normal to not have them?

I always get a dull pain in one side of my lower abdominal area - yesterday it lasted all day! Everyone is different though most women don’t get any symptoms of ovulation xx
