Fever while pregnant?

I currently have a fever of 101.8 and I’m 9 weeks pregnant. I have crazy back pains, vomiting, my throat is so sore I have neck cramps. Is this harmful to the baby? And what should I do

Take Tylenol and maybe a cool shower/bath if you can’t get the fever down. If it’s not going down soon, I would go to the doctor or at least give your doctor a call.

Victoria, did everything turn out OK with this pregnancy?? Just had a fever of just over 101 for a few hours that Tylenol brought down quickly, and was about 8w5d at the time. Thank you for the update!

Im having a fever that just hovers btwn 100.4 and 101. Did u end up going to ur dr?

My OB said fever is dangerous if it reaches 102 or higher. Take Tylenol and try a cool shower/bath. No blankets in bed or anything (uncomfortable I know).

Me as soon as I️ get a little cold I️ call my doctor, I️ don’t care how stupid I look as long as my baby’s fine. You need to go to the emergency room, high fevers are dangerous especially since your only 9 weeks. I️ hope everything’s turns out okay.

Go to the Dr. if your fever hits 102 it can kill your baby. thats why high temps arent allowedd like hot showers, heating pads, and Jacuzzis.
