Part 1:

I’m fairly new on this journey. Let me first say thank you. Thank you to all the beautiful spirits who have made themselves vulnerable enough to share this intimate part of their lives. I guess you could say I’m fairly new to this community and journey; we’ve been trying to conceive for a year and a half. Outside of this difficulty, the hardest part is watching all of my friends, co-workers and associates conceive without issue. I literally learned 7 women were pregnant around me within weeks. Although I’ve been told infertility can be common, the experiences around me make that concept a false reality. What do you say to folks who inquire about efforts in having a child? Intent vs. Impact. They mean well but the constant reminder of our challenges hurt.

Part 2:

Knowing the challenge comes from my husband, we went in to complete his semen analysis but he found the overall pressure too much to bare. He’s completely shutdown from trying again. Does anyone have suggestions for alternative assessments/analysis in order for us to learn more about our challenges?
