TTC Timeline

I’m curious to know when people started their TTC counting.... like “TTC 4 years” or “TTC 7 years, no luck”

I technically started TTC a year and a half ago, but I started TTC with confirmed infertility 6 months ago.

I guess when I first started this whole journey I couldn’t understand how 3 years of trying could go by, but being a year and a half in and still a good 6 months away from even getting an earnest attempt at a pregnancy, I can see how the years tick by.

Part of me doesn’t even remember the time before learning something was wrong. When I remind myself that this new, informed path with a very different journey than when I started, has only 6 months under its belt, I feel less consumed by it.

So does everyone count their TTC journey from the very first day one or does a totally different path feel like a reset?
