HCG 14,266 and nothing seen on ultrasound?!

BFP Feb 1st.

HCG 340 on 2/6

HCG 9,163 on 2/12

HCG 14,266 Today 2/14

And...NOTHING to see on the ultrasound. I say again....wtf.

I just had a miscarriage in December, and my levels were so high that the obgyn was preparing me to see twins today!

And yet, they literally saw nothing. Not a sac, not a pole, not a teeny tiny dot. That’s insane at this HCG level right?! And the doctor is saying that this HCG rise is still totally normal because they expect it to take over 96 hours to double after 6,000.

Has anyone ever experienced something like this?! Can this possibly have a good outcome?

Edit to add: they offered me misoprostol, since they expect to see something at this level. I declined, obviously!
