At 5w3d I hit my stomach incredibly hard at work and started experiencing some spotting and severe cramping. I went to the ER just to make sure everything was okay. After several hours and barely talking to anyone for more than 10 minutes I was basically told, "we think everything is ok, your lab numbers look good and when we did the ultrasound we could see something in your uterus, but there is also something on your ovary, so we can't totally rule out ectopic. Follow up with your OB. Have a nice life."

I just got my bill for that visit. My share is over $1800... they told me nothing. All they did was cause more stress because I walked out concerned about ectopic, which wasn't even on my mind prior. I am so annoyed.
