So happy to see how this group has grown over the year. I will be updating more often and doing my best to respond to all questions!

Hi Mamas! I am Taylor, I started this group almost 2 years ago when I was pregnant with my first , he will be 2 in June. In my early pregnancy I was vax sceptic, There were a bunch I was against and a few I needed to learn more about. Mid pregnancy the movie "Vaxxed" came out, I saw it opening day and my decision was made, no vaccines period. Finding a pediatrician was challenging but I didn't give up and ended up with a doctor that I am so grateful for. 
I declined Dtap while pregnant but agreed to get it a few days after birth.  I got a horrible allergic reaction to it, a rash on my neck and chest about an hour after and later that night my chest was so heavy and developed a deep painful cough. I was fine a day or 2 later but I can not believe that child is given this 5 times starting at a 2 months.
My nearly 2 year old is completely unvaccinated, above average in development. He just got his first cold yesterday and is already better today. I use homeopathic remedies and essential oils often but I have used Motrin on a few really bad teething day. 
I am so happy for the choice I have made regarding my child's health, I am expecting my second this summer and will do exactly the same. I think it's really important to do research, educate yourself so you can stand up for yourself. Know the reason for each vaccine, the risk if your child gets the illness the vaccine is said to protect against vs the risk of the vaccine. 
I think I huge misconception abt not vaccinating is the a don't want to "hurt my child from a needle" if someone think that's what I'm worried about I don't even engage. I used to argue a lot more but it only ends up upsetting me, nothing is going to change my mind.

Hi, I’m Lauren, I just like hearing from other anti-vaxxers as it’s so depressing hearing how uninformed people are. I’m expecting my first in June. I’m from a family of anti-vaxxers which is nice, my dad is a bit of a broken record about it all! I believe I’m vaccine-damaged as I nearly died from a ‘chest infection’ following an MMR at 15 months and have had energy issues all my life. My pancreas is pretty duff so I control type 1 diabetes through diet alone.

Hi I'm Kat, it's nice to see other mamas on my same path. I work in the health field and I get to the poor my were I straight out refuse and don't even give them any excuses why anymore, they're left dumb founded lol. I do my research, I teach at the university level, and I'm active in my community. The last shots I had my third child do was the MMR which she reacted to back in 2004. I haven't looked back since and don't regret my decision to not vaccinate since then for the rest of my children including me. If and when I do get preggo again, I plan to do the same for my future children ..... NO Vaccines.

my name is nancy, my daughter I named renata, she is 16 months old. I received the dtap  (hah autocorrect turned it into crap, atleast it knows) shot while I was pregnant, and I'm pretty sure she got the vitamin k shot at birth but that is it. she is extremely smart, she can count to 3, and is humming the tune of ABCs, she knows her animals and sounds and always says thank you. she also poops on her potty every morning. And she is extremely beautiful. we are on our 4th doctor and I just want to find one who isn't against me. I've called many who won't even see her because she doesn't have her vaccines. I am hoping to find a happy ending to my search soon, but I just like reading about other people's experiences that they go through with family friends or doctors and how they handle it. I'm glad to be here
