Here's a brief back story.. fiance and I have been together for almost 7 year and have 2 childern together. We always planned on elopement since it fit our lifestyle and majority of everyone we know or meet already believe we're married until we tell them otherwise, plus we honestly see each other as married.

So right before Christmas we found the perfect place to get eloped in Seattle at a treehouse resort, the resort allow childern there until it gets dark for safety reasons and because it's a relaxing adult stay, so we chose that we'd go alone for 4 days and come home, and at Christmas with my family we told them our plan. everyone was excited and my mom a tad bummed she wouldn't be, but was happy once we told her that we will face time it or something so everyone can watch.

That evening we told my fiance' side of the family and they seemed to be okay with it, and maybe a little indifferent.

fast forward to this week, my mother in law at dinner when we asked which day she'd like to watch the kids for us while we're in seattle stands up and shouts she will be going to her only son's wedding! my fiance and I looked at each other super confused, so she said she didn't care if she was invited or not she will be there.

WE HAVE A MONTH AND A HALF BEFORE OUR ELOPEMENT!

plus for us to add people other than ourselves it's a extra 2000.00 dollars for the venue and change our whole contract with the venue.

Of course if my mother in law is wanting to go then my mom will too which is understandable.

We will also have to bring the kids and my aunt since my mom and his mom doesn't quite get along so she could be the middle man.

oh another problem that would happen is that my mom doesn't have the money to really spend on a 6 hour flight from Chicago to Seattle like my mother in law can.

and here I thought this was pretty simply up until now. ha
