Stomach aches

Ok so I only started getting my period this year ( I'm a hella late bloomer lol) and my first two were basically spotting with some cramps and mood swings. My last one and the current one have been really bad. My flow is super heavy and unpredictable and my last one lasted 7 days. The worst thing is that I get pretty bad stomach aches that take away my appetite and it's sooo annoying. Today I took ibuprofen and it really helped but when it starts to wear off it sucks. Should I see a doctor or is this normal?
