Am I over reacting?

I feel like I may be over reacting, however, my boyfriend of two years has not got me anything for Valentine’s Day the past two years. He didn’t even say or express happy Valentine’s Day. Both years I spent a decent amounts of money on him. It just makes me mad, and I feel like I’m not appreciated and loved as much as he claims. I understand he doesn’t need to get me anything, money doesn’t need to buy happiness nor love, but when all my friends and coworkers are all talking about it, it hurts me. Should I calm down and say something? Am I over reacting?
