Which do you think is more visually appealing?

I know that Catherine is the spelling used the most/longest (historically speaking).  But does spelling it with a K seem traditional to you or does it seem like “playing with the spelling”?

I think both are common enough that it’s not playing with the spelling the same way some other names are butchering them. Kahttherryn might be overdoing it 😝🙃😉

I like it with a K 😜 I think they're both traditional at this point. I will tell you, when I say my name, most people ASSUME it's with a K, and it's very nice to not have to correct them all the time!

I named my daughter Cathryn after my sister who passed away last year, another variation of Catherine. My sister used to spell her name like this.

I’m due March 5th and naming my little girl Catherine!! It’s a family name for us! My Great Grandmothers name, my middle name, and my husbands late mothers middle name. I think it’s timeless and beautiful!

I like both ways. I always liked this name, but my MIL is called Cathy and I didn't want to seem like I was naming the baby after her.

My best friend is a Cathrine, without the E in the middle. So for me that the “correct” spelling 😝
