Bf thinks other girls are hot and pretty

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 years. He’s 23 and I’m 22. We do spend lots of time together when we see each other about twice a week only because of college. Everything is great with him and he always shows me that he loves me. But sometimes he makes comments about other girls saying that they’re pretty Hot and sometimes he tells me that as a guy he has thoughts when he sees a girl such as “wow, you’re really pretty”. He told me this, but he rarely tells me that I’m beautiful. But when he does it’s like should I believe him or not. He’s not a romantic at heart so when he does something romantic for me, it really makes me feel good. But am I overreacting about the comments he makes about other girls? I’m not usually insecure, but how do I deal with this? Thanks ❤️

Also, I should add that this is the first real relationship both of us have ever had.
