I have dark blue eyes and my husband has hazel eyes! What color do you think our baby’s eyes will be?!

It’s so hard to predict, could be either one of yours or close family members. I have green eyes and my SO has brown , our daughter has light blue eyes! My twin sister is the only one in the family with light blue eyes , so you never know!

Eye color is controlled by a surprising number of genes, it's crazy and you an get such a variety. My parents both have brown eyes and my 4 and I siblings range from bright blue, hazel, green, to chocolate brown. But I bet your baby will have hazel eyes!

It’s SO hard to say! I have dark brown eyes. Both of my parents have dark brown eyes and they each have one parent with blue eyes and one with brown. My husband has green eyes but both parents have blue (two grandparents with brown and two with blue also.) Our daughter has blue eyes, though they do look like eventually they may turn green. My husband’s went from blue to green when he was between 3-4 years old. (Green is the only one that isn’t always established by 1 year old, which I always find interesting!)

you'll have no idea until they're here! that's the fun part. My side of the family (both mum and dads sides) are blue eyes, with the occassional green eyes. Mine are blue with a hazel ring around my pupils. My husband has green eyes and hazel very similar to his dads (the rest of his dads family are dark brown eyes), but his mums side are all blue eyed. Our baby could have anything! Genes crop up any which where lol
