Okay so I have been dating my boyfriend for almost 2 and a half years and it feels like I'm competing with his family to spend time with my boyfriend. We don't spend time at his house because his family never really liked me because me and my boyfriend met while he was in the process of leaving his religion. (It's a long complicated story that involves his family having a lot of person problems and me being caught in the middle. it was easier to pin the blame on me, which they actually admitted to doing later on. instead of realizing that they had personal family problems that I had nothing to do with.) Anyway, it just feels like whenever possible his mom makes it as hard as she can for me to spend time with him, we are both adults and I find it annoying that this still is going on. She makes it crazy difficult to even text or call him. what do I do?
