PPD? ??

Anyone feel like they love their child more than anything in this world, and feel like you are not cut out to be a Mom?

that was 100% me. I have always loved my daughter so so so so much. more than I have ever loved anyone. And I remember the first few months being rough. my daughter had reflux and colic and cried all the time. She never wanted to sleep it seemed. And every time she cried I'd cry. one day my fiance came home from work and I was sitting in bed sobbing with my daughter because she was in pain. I told him I wasn't cut put to be a mom, that she deserved better.  I told him I must be doing it wrong. I knew it wasn't me but I also felt like it was if that makes sense. you are good. you're wonderful. these are just rough times but I promise they pass. stay strong. ❤❤❤❤ the day I realized I was a good mom after all was the day a little old man confronted me while I was at lunch with my daughter. She had been waving to him and smiling the whole time. So he came over and told me how she was the happiest and sweetest little girl. that it told him I must be the world's greatest mom to have such a happy kid. he didn't know just how badly I needed to hear that.

How many days postpartum are you? I felt like that the first two weeks and then something switched and I’m totally fine now. I honestly was so close to talking to my doctor about PPD but then I guess once my hormones calmed down felt better. Sometimes it just takes time to feel like a mommy. Now I feel like im doing such a good job.
